Lakelands U16 boys attended the rugby tournament yesterday afternoon at Ellesmere College with the support of Rob Kershaw and Sam Hodgson from Oswestry Rugby club through the All Schools programme. This was their first rugby tournament and the first match was against Ellesmere college. Throughout the game the students demonstrated excellent skills and got stuck into the tackles leading them to win their first game!

They then went on to play against The Marches & The Corbet. Sam Hodgson praised the team " I am really impressed with the skills they have shown today". The Marches also praised the team for how well they played certainly considering it was their first match.
