Lakelands Academy Customised Rugby Kit Unveiled at England vs Wales Six Nations Match
In partnership with the RFU Lakelands Academy were invited to design a new Rugby shirt which would be custom made by Canterbury and then invited to the unveiling of the shirt at the start of the England Six Nations match against Wales on the 7th of March.
Designed by Hollie, Neela and Joe, who visited the home of the Sale Sharks to design this eye catching and unique kit as part of the RFU all schools programme. The programme aims to get more young people playing rugby for fun and competitively.
Joe has been selected to attend the Six Nations, England vs Wales match at Twickenham on the 7th of March to unveil the new kit in a shirt unveiling parade, before the match begins in front of 80,000 spectators. He will be provided with shorts, skins and socks by the RFU to wear with the shirt. What an amazing opportunity!
